Rap music

     Everybody likes listening to music which originally comes from the west culture. Any kind of music like Rock, Blues and Pop are listened by many people instead of the western. In Indonesia, one that is now becoming more and more popular among the people is rap music. There are some ways that build the growth of rap music fame in the country.
     In the first way, rap music shows its dynamic which is unique to Indonesian people. They feel it by getting the lyrics that are sung with different thing. When a rapper sings, it seems that, in one hand, he is singing and following the tone, while in the other hand, it looks like he is speaking with the music that is created creatively. People like to listen to it as the harmony makes unusual and interesting things in expression.
     Then, rap music, at this time, is giving a brand new in interpreting soul of Indonesian music. Original Indonesian genres of music like Keroncong, Dangdut, and even Campursari are influenced by the common music that came from the other culture while rap music is the real one that was invented by American black people for the first time before it spread widely around the globe. With the origin, it brings something fresh and expresses the high and exciting level above all kind of music.
     In addition to its dynamic and new interpretation, rap music brings the new popularity among Indonesian people. "Bondan and Fade2black" and "The Law" are the examples of Indonesian group of music that combine and mix their own music with rap. Many people like listening to their songs and even imitate the rap style in making their own.
     In summary, rap music has definitely affected Indonesian men in spreading out the evolution of music by showing a nice dynamic, giving something new greatly, and forming a fresh trend. Personally, I think that rap music would change the culture of Indonesian music with the development that keeps going up at the present.
